About This Page
This page began life as a Fabio International Fan Club page. For a few of the images I don't have the original source art, so there are no pop-ups for those. We do, however, link out to video so you can hear Fabio speak. Scroll down for links to the American Fusion movie clip, Fabio on his bike (helmet on this time), and the record-breaking 2006 Super Bowl commercial.
Fabio's Book Covers
His 'Branded' books — and no, there aren't any more — mostly include a centerfold or inner cover fold-out, and they were released worldwide around 1994. Fabio isn't just for America; he's genuinely international. That's exactly why we're the Fabio International Fan Club.
Fabio on Motorcycles
Here he is playing on his bike — this one without a helmet! Fabio owns 200 bikes. He was taken off his Harley during his modeling days. He's been riding since he was a kid. These days I wince when he rides without a helmet or protection! And he does his own mechanical work.
Advertising, TV and Magazine Appearances
He appears in ads, on magazine covers, and makes the occasional TV appearance (backstage pass), including an Oral-B promotion online. He's been a billboard in New York for both Oral-B and National Insurance — talk about stopping traffic! Check out the early Hugo Boss ad with short hair. Then there's the feather-blowing Super Bowl fake-out spot — we all went hunting for that shampoo! GOTCHA! The #1 ad of the 2006 Super Bowl — not bad, Fabio!
Collector's Images and Cover Art
He has graced more than 400 book covers — romance, science fiction and fantasy — true collector's images! Publishers also figured out they could drop the female model, since women simply want HIM on the cover so they can picture themselves as the heroine! Oh yeah! (That's why the six branded books came out — see above.) Man of My Dreams really lit people up! And no, he did NOT pose nude. He's a good boy. He did SIX Tarzan covers.
From romance and fantasy covers to billboards and Super Bowl spots, this page gathers the many sides of Fabio Lanzoni's career. Browse the sections above for book art, motorcycle moments and memorable advertising appearances, and follow the links to hear Fabio speak and watch the clips for yourself.
